Barb Bottle, she/her, is a queer inter-disciplinary artist, white settler, and a guest on Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Metis Nation. Bottle received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours from the University of Manitoba. Bottle completed the Mentoring Artists for Women’s art Foundation Mentorship Program, with Mentor Sarah Crawley, and has worked with mentors Diana Thorneycroft, Barb Hunt, Sarah Fuller, and Leif Norman.

Recent work explores themes of belonging, place, and adoption trauma through textiles, hand-stitching, knitting, video, performance, sound, video, contemporary dance, performance art, and photography.
